Stranded

Parallel Strain

Compositor: Pedro Susko

In the dream I wandered, unclad on blackened shore
Beneath the gray sky, strange visions did unfold
Creatures stranded, the beach a desolate land
And in my arms, an illusion of a baby's hand

Ghostly entities, haunting the skies above
As I stood alone, the only man left in this world
A nightmare that lingers, never letting me go
Will this darkness ever end? I don't know

Lost in the nightmares, trapped in this dream
Searching for an escape, a glimmer of hope it seems
But the illusions persist, haunting my every breath
Will this nightmare end, or am I condemned to its depth?

A gap in reality, a parallel dimension I've found

Through endless corridors, I rush with no end
Resistance futile, it's useless to pretend
A ghostly woman appears, in a white torn dress
In an instant, she stands before me, causing distress

Her hand touches mine, and her dress turns red
Like petals from a breaking tree, the color spreads
Suddenly, we're back in the beach, looking ahead
But the sight that greets us fills our hearts with dread

Beyond the shore, I gaze into the sky
All I see is undoing, no reason why
The earth's on fire, it's burning so bright
Melting like metal, it's a blazing sight (sight)

No snowfield can stop this blazing storm
Running on the beach, but reality's torn
Will this nightmare end or go on forever?
I wish for a peaceful land where mushrooms grow (grow)

In the depths, I'll find solace and serenity
Drifting away, escaping this calamity (calamity)
